Position Summary

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Yard Shipper / Receiver is responsible for efficiently receiving, storing, and shipping products. This role involves maintaining customer service standards, handling inventory accurately and safely, and assisting in various functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Complete shipping, receiving, inventory control, and administrative tasks accurately and daily
• Operate materials handling equipment and assist in forklift and equipment maintenance
• Load and unload trucks, conduct location inventory, and maintain yard and warehouse appearance
• Own the assigned aisle area in the yard and ensure merchandising and inventory standards are met
• Make deliveries when required

Qualifications required for the position

• Grade 12 diploma with 1 - 2 years of related experience or equivalent
• Warehouse/Yard and forklift experience
• Capable of physical labor and lifting up to 25 kg
• Basic computer proficiency and good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must maintain required certifications and be flexible for shift work
