Yard Shipper/Receiver

Job Description:

• Reporting to the Store Manager, the Yard Shipper / Receiver is responsible for efficiently, effectively, and accurately receiving products into the designated UFA location; placing in appropriate storage locations; picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers.
• Must adhere to all UFA customer service standards including serving customers promptly and efficiently, handling inventory accurately and safely, and maintaining equipment.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or 1-2 years of related experience.
• Equivalently, 3-5 years of related experience without a Grade 12 diploma.
• Warehouse/Yard and forklift experience.
• Capable of physical labor and lifting up to 25 kg.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Previous cash handling experience is an asset.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written.
• Must stay current with required certifications including WHMIS and TDG.
• Flexible to accommodate shift work.
