Yard Shipper/Receiver

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Store Manager, the Yard Shipper / Receiver is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.
  • Must adhere to all UFA customer service standards and ensure efficient service.
  • Responsible for inventory control, equipment maintenance, and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Operate materials handling equipment and assist in forklift maintenance.
  • Make deliveries and maintain yard and warehouse appearance.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma with 1-2 years of related experience, or 3-5 years of related experience without diploma.
  • Warehouse/yard and forklift experience required.
  • Capable of physical labor and lifting up to 25 kg.
  • Basic computer proficiency and good communication skills.
  • Must maintain required certifications like WHMIS and TDG and be flexible for shift work.
  • Safety-sensitive position requiring a drug and alcohol screening test.
