Territory Sales Representative
- Job Description:
At Syngenta, the Remote Territory Sales Representative for the Crop Protection Sales team located in Regina, Saskatchewan will build strong customer relationships and generate interest and demand for the Syngenta CP portfolio within the assigned geography. This is an 18 month contract position.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year experience in the Ag industry or Diploma with 10 years of experience in the industry.
- Understanding of financial analysis and general business issues and practices.
- Good strategic influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong project management skills: ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, marketing plan development, brand strategies, and best practices.
- Clear and effective decision-making, with an emphasis on a data-driven approach.
- Duties:
- Develop a territory plan to achieve sales targets, including analyzing market trends to identify data-driven growth opportunities, completing product forecasting requirements, achieving annual sales target for crop protection, and developing and implementing local field marketing plan.
- Foster meaningful relationships through utilizing discovery skills to understand retailer and grower needs, developing retailer business plans, delivering and reconciling programs or segmented offers to retailers.
- Communicate the value of technology by effectively communicating the value of the portfolio, training and developing retailers to effectively position product to growers, creating awareness of technology , and providing product service and support.
