Farm Manager
Job Description:
- Organize work teams, monitor progress, and ensure quality compliance.
- Communicate progress to the Operations Manager.
- Ensure fruit is picked in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Manage employees, instruct, and coordinate activities during harvest.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager for day-to-day operations.
- Operate farm equipment when needed.
- Ensure employees are trained on safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Background in farming, planning, and production preferred.
- Ability to work independently and handle daily farming demands.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in farming.
- Ability to work long hours, especially during harvest months.
- Spanish language proficiency considered an asset.
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract.
