Assistant Terminal Manager

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as an Assistant Terminal Manager based in Goderich, Ontario. The P&H Grain Division is a comprehensive grain and crop input network, operating across approximately 45 locations in the prairie provinces and Ontario. Our strategically positioned facilities, including grain elevators, rail sidings, inland terminals, and specialized export terminals, ensure that we effectively match producer grain with the needs of both domestic and export end users. As a full-service agri-retailer, we provide farming communities with a full range of quality crop input products and agronomic solutions, encompassing crop protection products, certified seeds, nutrients, and custom applications.
- Requirements:
- Experience in terminal or marine operations and/or the grain industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices and processes.
- Prior experience in a role with fiscal responsibilities, such as budgeting or cost control.
- Leadership experience, specifically in a union environment is an asset.
- Proficient in basic computer operations, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including winter environments, and in environments subject to dust and allergens.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Extended hours and weekend availability may be required.
