Service Advisor (Neepawa)
Job Description:
- AgWest is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Neepawa. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating service requests, scheduling technicians, managing work orders, and ensuring all service activities meet customer expectations. You’ll act as a key liaison between customers, technicians, and internal departments to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service inquiries from customers and internal staff via phone, email, text, and walk-ins.
- Open and manage work orders with complete and accurate documentation.
- Schedule service jobs, aligning technician availability with job urgency and requirements.
- Coordinate parts orders to ensure timely job completion.
- Communicate job details and customer expectations clearly to technicians.
- Monitor job progress, provide updates to customers, and ensure satisfaction upon completion.
- Prepare accurate quotes for service work, including labor and parts costs.
- Review and finalize service invoices with attention to accuracy.
- Recommend additional services based on machine usage and age.
- Collaborate with the parts and sales teams to support cross-functional service delivery.
- Promote service packages and maintenance plans to customers.
- Support warranty administration and assist with claim processing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent .
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor in the agriculture or heavy equipment industry.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or service coordination.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset with a solutions-focused approach.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with agricultural machinery and service operations.
- Proficient with service management software and general computer applications.
Working Conditions:
- Office and workshop environment.
- Occasional standing, bending, and lifting may be required.
- Some travel may be necessary.
- Overtime as needed during peak seasons.
