Director, Nitrogen Safety and Health

Job Description:

• Location: Calgary, Saskatoon, or Loveland
• Nutrien is a leading provider of crop inputs and services, focusing on Feeding the Future with a culture of safety, inclusion, integrity, and results.
• Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Safety, Health, and Environment .
• Duties include developing safety and health strategies, facilitating plans, leading governance teams, providing technical expertise, monitoring SH&E trends, and engaging in budget management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Safety, or a relevant field
• Minimum of 10 years of SH&E and operations experience in a highly regulated manufacturing industry
• Process Safety regulatory knowledge, Certified Safety Professional accreditation is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Strong knowledge of regulations and industry trends
• Proactive, influential, collaborative, and solution-oriented
