Future Opportunities - Temporary Cultivation & Packaging Roles

Job Description:

• CIG is building a pool of candidates for future temporary roles in both our Cultivation and Packaging teams. While there may not be immediate openings available today, we are looking to connect with individuals interested in joining our team as new opportunities arise over the next 6 months.

  • Cultivation Workers
  • Packaging Technicians
• Both positions offer the chance to work hands-on in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and a positive attitude are key. You’ll support vital areas of our operation, helping us bring high-quality products to market.

General Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting plant care and growth processes
• Assisting with cannabis product packaging, weighing, labeling, and order preparation
• Maintaining inventory accuracy and data entry
• Following strict sanitation and Health Canada compliance protocols
• Working independently and collaboratively in a production-driven environment
• Performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a strong focus on quality and precision

Working Conditions:

• Physically demanding roles
• Environments may vary
• Ability to wear assigned PPE is required

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 19+ years of age
• Clear criminal record check
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and strong work ethic
• Comfort working in a repetitive, fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in horticulture, agriculture, regulated packaging, or production is an asset

Position Details:

• Rate of Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Position Status: Full-Time, Hourly, 3-month Temporary Contract Position
