Marketing Coordinator (Summer Student)
Job Description:
- Role: Marketing Assistant
- Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager
- Passion for the environment and expertise in marketing required
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation and Management
- Assist in creating social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and other marketing materials
- Schedule and monitor content across various platforms
- Market Research
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience demographics
- Compile data to assist in developing marketing strategies
- Campaign Support
- Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns
- Track and report on campaign performance metrics
- Event Coordination
- Help organize promotional events, webinars, or trade shows
- Support logistics, including registration, materials preparation, and follow-up communication
- Social Media Management
- Monitor and engage with followers on social media platforms
- Analyze performance metrics like reach, engagement, and clicks
- Administrative Support
- Maintain marketing databases and CRM tools
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, or internal teams as needed
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Understanding of digital marketing, branding, and social media strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics is advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Interest in trends, branding, and consumer behavior
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team
Experience
- Previous internships, volunteer work, or projects related to marketing
- Experience with online platforms
