Marketing Coordinator (Summer Student)


Job Description:

  • Role: Marketing Assistant
  • Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager
  • Passion for the environment and expertise in marketing required

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Management
    • Assist in creating social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and other marketing materials
    • Schedule and monitor content across various platforms
  • Market Research
    • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience demographics
    • Compile data to assist in developing marketing strategies
  • Campaign Support
    • Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns
    • Track and report on campaign performance metrics
  • Event Coordination
    • Help organize promotional events, webinars, or trade shows
    • Support logistics, including registration, materials preparation, and follow-up communication
  • Social Media Management
    • Monitor and engage with followers on social media platforms
    • Analyze performance metrics like reach, engagement, and clicks
  • Administrative Support
    • Maintain marketing databases and CRM tools
    • Coordinate with vendors, partners, or internal teams as needed

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Understanding of digital marketing, branding, and social media strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics is advantageous
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Interest in trends, branding, and consumer behavior
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team

Experience

  • Previous internships, volunteer work, or projects related to marketing
  • Experience with online platforms
