Tax Director

Job Description:

• Maple Leaf Foods announced that it will be separating into two independent public companies. The new Pork Company; Canada Packers will be unleashed as a world leading organization producing sustainable meats, providing both businesses with a sharper focus to execute their own growth strategy.
• Canada Packers will be a leader in sustainability produced, premium quality, and value-added products, building its leadership team for significant growth potential.
• The Director, Tax provides leadership and management to the tax function, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• CPA .
• Completed the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Course and/or hold an MTax degree.
• Minimum 10 years Canadian income tax experience, including at least 5 years at a public company.
• Manufacturing background preferred.
• Experience implementing and managing international tax structures and related compliance.
