Survey Assistant Student (Regina, SK)


  • Job Description:

    No experience is necessary! As our Survey Assistant Student, you are passionate about spending time outside in the field. We are looking for a student who is excited about the opportunity to learn alongside experienced mentors. Ideally, you are highly collaborative, with strong communication skills and an infectious positivity that positively affects team members around you.

    This is a temporary, full-time student summer position. There is a possibility that it will be extended until Fall or the end of 2025.

    Our ideal scenario is when we have students that come back term after term, eventually landing a full-time role after they graduate!

  • Requirements:

    • Currently enrolled in a degree/diploma program related to Geomatics, Surveying, Geography or Civil Engineering.
    • Ability and willingness to travel regularly for the client, project, and GeoVerra requirements.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
    • An understanding of survey methodologies is considered an asset.
    • Previous experience working in the great outdoors is considered an asset.
    • A valid non-restricted driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
    • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as per the limits provided in the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace.
    • Clear criminal background check.

    • Ability to carry, lift, and push up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
