Electrician

The Opportunity:

• Maple Leaf Foods at 100 McLeod Avenue, in Saskatoon, is a boutique sausage facility.
• Team creates great tasting quality products and looking for more great people.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications.
• Install, replace, and repair electrical control and distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems.
• Connect electrical power to various equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep records.

What You’ll Bring:

• Journeyman Electrician certificate required.
• Minimum of 3 years of trade-related experience.
• Exposure to GMP, HACCP, OH&S, and environmental procedures.
• Highly motivated, able to work well in a team or alone.
• Sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Basic computer ability coupled with strong communication skills.
