Transfer Station Scale Operator (Competition #25-52)
Job Description:
- Position: Transfer Station Scale Operator
- Department: Public Works Services
- Location: Parkland County Transfer Station
- Reporting to: General Supervisor, Solid Waste Services
- Duties:
- Operate the Transfer Station Scale House including computer software.
- Provide customer service, handle financial transactions, and maintain records.
- Direct traffic and ensure scale house cleanliness.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in scale house operations at a waste management facility.
- Experience operating scale hardware and accompanying computer software.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Availability for on-call shifts, specifically on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License.
- Hourly rate of pay: $22.36 to $24.18 per hour.
- Open availability within the Tuesday to Saturday schedule.
