Account Manager (Yorkton)


Job Description:
  • AgWest is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling AGCO products to farmers and agricultural businesses within your designated territory.
  • You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to effectively promote AGCO products and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and prospect potential customers within the agricultural industry.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of AGCO equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide customers with tailored solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to customers, including product training and after-sales service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience in agricultural equipment sales or a similar sales role.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment, particularly AGCO products, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
