Planning and Dispatch Coordinator

Job Description:

• The Coordinator, Planning and Dispatch role is an integral part of our Transportation Supply Chain team.
• Reporting to the Western Transportation Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a cohesive team and a wider collaborative distribution and transportation network across Maple Leaf Foods.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a Distribution / Logistics / Transportation discipline
• Completed/engaged in a Diploma/degree program in a related discipline
• Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders of all levels
• Decision-making capability and a critical eye for detail
• Ability to manage several tasks at once and a willingness to exercise flexibility with short notice
• Geographic knowledge and understanding
• Functional capability within SAP and adaptable to new systems and processes
• General knowledge of Word / Excel/ Outlook/ Map Point. is an asset
