Service Shift Manager - Shaunavon

Job Description:

• Manage, coordinate, and direct the workload of the Service Department for maximum efficiency and productivity
• Assign/schedule all service department jobs for technicians based on their skills/knowledge
• Motivate, inspire, and assist employees through coaching, training, and development
• Ensure effective communication with customers and employees
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and training
• Provide exceptional customer service above standards
• Conduct safety meetings and encourage safe working habits
• Assist in diagnosis/troubleshooting of machine problems

Requirements:

• Ability to operate vehicles/equipment for diagnostic purposes
• 5+ years performing complex service repairs/maintenance
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs repeatedly; 40-75 lbs on occasion
• Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ag Equipment Tech Journeyperson Certification/equivalent
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to use current business systems and computer functions
