Position Overview

GrizzlyTrek Group is urgently hiring highly experienced Industrial Tank Cleaners for an upcoming shutdown at a pulp mill in Grande Prairie. This short-term, high-intensity role requires physical endurance, safety-first thinking, and hands-on industrial cleaning experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and clean industrial tanks and vessels in compliance with confined space procedures.

  • Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment and vacuum trucks.

  • Follow all safety protocols, including confined space and pressure system requirements.

  • Inspect equipment for safety and function before and after each use.

  • Participate in daily safety briefings and report any incidents immediately.

  • Work closely with supervisors and crew to stay on schedule and meet project deliverables.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial tank cleaning or heavy industrial environments.

  • Competency in operating vacuum trucks and pressure washing systems.

  • Physically fit and able to work in confined and enclosed spaces for extended periods.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills under pressure.

  • Proven commitment to safety and understanding of industrial protocols.


Required Safety Certifications

  • CSO or CSTS-2020

  • Confined Space Entry & Rescue

  • H2S Alive

  • Fall Arrest

  • First Aid & CPR

  • Additional site-specific training may be required.
