Accountant, Corporate Accounting

Job Description:

• This position is required to be on-site and is located in Saskatoon, SK.
• Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, the Accountant will be the main point of contact and responsible for the timely and accurate monthly close of the Oracle EBS system.
• This position requires a high degree of cross-department and cross-business unit interaction.
• The Corporate Accounting department operates with a significant number of deadlines and reporting obligations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field is required, along with working towards a professional CPA designation.
• 3-5 years of accounting work experience using an ERP system, preferably within a public company.
• Experience with data and variance analysis, including researching causes and providing clear explanations.
• Results orientation, with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
