Marketing Coordinator
Job Description:
- Rubicon Organics’ mission is to grow the best cannabis on earth and for the earth and today we are doing just that out of our state-of-the-art greenhouse facility located in Delta, B.C.
- We are growing and expanding quickly, with national distribution across Canada. We are launching many new products each quarter as we bring exciting new genetics and extracted products to market in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Team Support: In-depth understanding of the marketing calendar to provide support for all brand leaders, shipping, delivery, accounting support, inventory management, and influencer marketing support.
- General Admin includes creation and management of POs, budget tracking, sample ordering, key account support.
- Customer Service: Develop an understanding of products in each brand's portfolio, answer customer questions confidently.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute brand events, trade shows, and promotional activities, handle logistics and vendor coordination.
- Market Research: Conduct research on cannabis market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Brand Ambassador: Act as a representative of the brand at events, promoting a positive image and educating the public about products.
- Collaborative Work: Work closely with sales team, product development, and other departments to align marketing strategies with business goals.
- Product Launches: Coordination of assets for product launches and supporting Assistant Brand Managers in organizing timelines of product launches.
- Digital Asset Management: Upload, maintenance, DAM optimization, analytics reporting, budtender portal improvement, and label uploads.
- Website management: COA uploads, product additions, location tracker, content creation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the cannabis industry or a regulated industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, marketing software and tools .
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across all departments.
- Familiarity with cannabis culture, products, and industry regulations is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed for events.
- Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
