Director of Finance

Job Description:

• Lead the Accounting Team for a group of related companies operating in the Agricultural Sector.
• Manage internal accounting functions, tax compliance, financial reporting, and operational finance.
• Develop the company's investment in timely and effective reporting and move towards fully electronic records.
• Guide decision-making and support overall business objectives through financial expertise, budgeting, and forecasting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting or a related field.
• Accounting designation .
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience and demonstrated leadership roles.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, ASPE, and tax laws compliance.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively, with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in peak work periods such as summers in an agricultural setting.
