Mower Operator (Competition #25-37)

Job Description:

Parkland County is hiring a Mower Operator position in the Agriculture & Environment Services Department with a duration from approximately June to September 2025. Responsibilities include cutting roadsides for weed and brush control, fertilizing, seeding, and interacting courteously with the public.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Experience in operating medium-duty vehicles
• Mechanical inclination
• Experience with heavy equipment
• Preferred farm experience
• Valid Alberta Pesticide Applicator's License or ability to obtain one
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
