Job Description:

The role at Second Harvest involves being the National Volunteer Engagement Coordinator. Your responsibilities will include supporting the growth of our national volunteer program through the recruitment, screening, selection, coordination, supervision, and stewardship of volunteers. Working closely with field operations staff, corporate partners, and community groups will be essential to ensure that all volunteer engagement activity is well-executed and meets high-quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems.
  • Bilingual: Fluency in English and French is a strong asset.
  • Experience: Minimum two years in the not-for-profit sector, preferably with volunteer services or special events programs management.
  • Education: Post-secondary education or experience in volunteer management, human resources, social work, or a related field is preferred.
