HACCP Coordinator

Job Description:

• Sunrise Farms is a group of companies with primary focus in the poultry industry.
• From hatcheries to ready-to-eat cooking facilities, we serve customers in retail, food service, and industrial sectors with a commitment to Canadian farms, latest equipment, and quality products.
• The role of HACCP Coordinator involves implementing and maintaining food safety programs, document site-based systems, conduct microbiology testing, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• University/Bachelor/Diploma in Food Science or equivalent.
• Certification in HACCP is required.
• 3-5 years of HACCP coordinator/supervisor experience; meat industry experience is an asset.
• Thorough understanding of HACCP principles, process controls, SFCR, and GFSI.
• Strong knowledge of customer complaint investigation and resolution.
• Proficient in MS Suite products and label system software.
• Ability to manage tasks independently, adapt to changes, and handle multiple priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Manual and physical dexterity for machinery operation; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
