Survey Crew Chief
Job Description:
Our dynamic Geomatics team in Langley, BC is looking for a Survey Crew Chief who can manage and perform construction and legal survey work with the support of Survey Assistants, liaise with Project Managers, act as a company representative, provide guidance to assistants, and actively support the advancement of the GeoVerra safety program among other duties.
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in surveying and geomatics or relevant experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief
- Strong knowledge of survey equipment and software
- Experience with Trimble equipment, laser scanning, and line locating is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication
- Ability to motivate staff and deliver projects on time and budget
